FHS Dual Enrollment Options

Information on FHS Dual Enrollment Options

Collegeboard

Link to the Collegeboard website where you will find info on the PSAT as well as the SAT, and AP Testing. What does "NMSQT" stand for ? National Merit Scholar Qualifying Test. Taking the PSAT in the Junior year serves as the test to determine National Merit Scholars. Students are also given the opportunity to register to take a PSAT practice test in the Fall of their Freshman and/or Sophomore years.

The University of Alabama Honors College

Capstone Leadership Academy for Sophomores hosted by UA Honors College Leadership opportunity for Sophomores. FFC/FHS faculty selects two 10th grade students whom we feel would represent our school if selected for this competitive program. The students selected must apply for the program to determine if selected. Only 100 sophomores within the state of Alabama are invited to attend. Students must have a 3.0 min cumulative GPA to be considered. Email or come see Ms. Lovelace by September 1st if you are interested in being considered for this opportunity.
